On what seemed to be the hottest day of September, WOMBUKUS (the combination of the WFU men's and women's ultimate teams, Womb and Ruckus) ran at the annual WFU Hit the Bricks Fundraiser. Filling out an google excel sheet nights before, the group knew who was in class, out of class, and ready to run throughout they day. With the motivation to beat the rowing team, and to raise money for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund, WOMBUKUS ran a total of... a lot of laps. After such a long day, no one even bothered looking at our final lap count. However, our time at the event was well spent. Freshmen players were introduced to WOMBUKUS, old friends reconnected after a long summer break, and money was raised to cure cancer!
